The black ear-tips are slightly thicker than the orange. Both variants offer exceptional comfort and a snug fit, ensuring that the inner ear remains free from any discomfort or irritation. These ear-tips can be used continuously for an extended period without the need for breaks. The Liqueur ear-tips provide a secure and stable fit, preventing them from slipping out of the ears, and they also offer impressive isolation, elevating the perception of sound accuracy and aiding in extracting finer details. The enhanced silence and increased level of detail will leave you astonished compared to your regular ear-tips.
The Liquor ear-tips are designed to enhance the sound quality of your earphones without significantly changing the overall frequency response, in a way that is typical for ear-tips with a similar bore diameter. However, compared to standard ear-tips, they provide a superior seal that improves bass perception, layering, and definition. This results in a more textured and detailed bass sound with enhanced atmosphere and a tighter grip.
More impressions
The orange ear-tips offer a well-balanced sound profile, with no mid-bass emphasis, enhanced energy in the higher frequencies without introducing any harshness, and maintaining excellent resolution, clarity, and transparency. The mid-range is portrayed with exceptional clarity, spaciousness, and precise articulation.
The black set will accentuate the mid-bass slightly more and introduce a touch of warmth to the sound, while still maintaining a decent level of treble. The overall sound becomes smoother and focused on the bass, with vocals sounding more natural. However, it may not offer the same level of clarity, transparency, and energy as the orange ones.
Please note that as with any silicone ear-tips, the Penon Liqueur ear-tips conform to the general rule that they may not produce a significant change in sound quality and the perceived results can differ depending on individual ear canal shape and subjective sound perception.
In the end
